He Shou Wu

Well known as a potent anti ageing supplement, He-Shou-Wu, also known as Fo-Ti, is indigenous to Central/Southern China and has been used for thousands of years to promote good health and virility. Literally translated as “black haired Mr He”, He Shou Wu is named for its most well-known use – to prevent and treat premature greying hair and hair loss.  This effect is thought to come from improving the health and function of the kidneys and liver.  He Shou Wu may also balance blood pressure and reduce triglyceride and cholesterol levels. He Shou Wu has a powerful antibacterial effect and can help remove toxins by cleansing the kidneys, liver and urinary tract.  It can also act as a gentle natural laxative. He Shou Wu has a strong affinity to the reproductive system in men and women, increasing fertility and sexual vitality by balancing hormone production.  It may also be helpful in reducing excessive menstrual bleeding and lessening menopausal symptoms. Our He Shou Wu roots are prepared in the traditional way, which is to boil with black bean (heidou) juice for several hours and then dry.   SUGGESTED USE: Take 1 – 2 capsules per day with meals. Do not exceed stated dose.
